Character Biography
“Practice makes perfect” – Clover
Out of the three primary races created by the Gods, the Eldar or Elven folk are renowned as their best creation according to their scriptures. The Eldar race has an uncanny ability to surpass most in swordplay and magic. Their movements are fluid, as their ability to concentrate and modify their body to cast powerful spells is the envy of every other race.
As a child, Clover showed tremendous growth in the use and casting of elemental based magic. Such power for Eldar is not rare, but her affinity is one of a prodigy. She grew so powerful that her parents decided to travel from the Elven city capital of Lidiomin, a cluster of islands outside of Ocean Front to River Front, where the College of Magi resides. As they traveled in their caravel, they were attacked by a fleet of pirates, killing everyone except Clover, now a prisoner to be peddled off as a slave. Lucky for her, a fleet of Arcadia’s Navy was able to intercept the pirates, slaughtering them in River Fronts’ name and recovered the stolen cargo, only to find Clover trapped in chains.
Seeing how she lost all she knew, a Human Arcadia Captain called Luke White adopted Clover with permission of Arcadia’s Generals. He raised her as a sailor for the next ten years while teaching her about humans. Luke was able to provide shelter, a fantastic education, and security for Clover. As she grew, he made sure she was raised as an Eldar, learning all their culture and proper way for her to behave, but she picked up human mannerisms thanks to the crew of the ship. Now she knows too many Sea Shanties.
Once she became of age, with teary eyes, she left Ocean Front and her adoptive father. She went to study at the College of Magi, quickly becoming a powerful caster. Her achievements caught the attention of Lady Helena, head of the Magi College. Helena took her under her wing and taught her the secrets of magic, while properly teaching her how to be an Eldar and reclaim her family name. Using her imagination, Clover can transform her spells to fantastic beasts, quickly gaining fame and glory. Sadly, there was a human factor missing from her life. She wrote her adoptive father, who recommended experience in Arcadia, but she refused. She wanted to start anew somewhere where she could learn how to survive and asked Helena permission to join the Warrior’s Guild. There, she met Ruffus, and their adventure began.
