Character Biography

“I fight to restore hope, I fight to restore peace, I fight for Arcadia.” – Trist

Trist Range is known as the Wind of The Dunes and is a captain of Arcadia, the renowned military group from River Front. This nickname was obtained thanks to her mentor Leto, a Black Lion Bestlia who recruited her from the Dunes of Malemort, an arid region in the continent above The Wilds. Her movements are swift, her attacks are precise, and her conviction is never-ending. Trist is honored as one of the best captains in Arcadia Militia. All because of a loving mother’s wish.

Born as the only female in a wealthy family, she was to be married off to a merchant lord. Her mother had different plans; she wanted Trist to have the ability to choose her life freely. Every day she would take her to the desert in secret to train her in combat and hide trinkets in her mansion so Trist would find them, developing her attention to detail.

Once she came of age, many lords highly sought her out to become their bride; but it was thanks to Leto, who paid her father an enormous amount of gold to save her from her fate. Whispers in the winds say that Trist’s mother had contacted Leto to give her a new life. Now and then, Trist returns to her mother with gifts of the best jasmine plants and stories of her adventures.

Now she has a task which is to accompany Ruffus to White Wood, a mission that no one else wanted to do.
